HERE’S HOW TO INSTALL ANDROID P BETA ON YOUR PHONE

If you have any of the above-mentioned phones, you’re eligible to download the Android P Beta update. All you will need to do is, head over to the Android Beta Program website, and sign up for access to pre-release versions of Android P. After signing up, you’ll receive a notification on your respective device about a system update being available, and then receive the build via OTA within roughly 24 hours from the time of signing up.

Before installing Android P beta update make sure to back up all your data, this is because the updates that you’ll receive as a part of this program are pre-release versions and hence, may contain errors and defects that can affect the normal functioning of your phone. It is also worth noting that you may not receive the regular monthly security updates after installing the Android P beta. This is because Android P beta although is the latest version of Android, it’s not an official release. The official release of Android P may happen soon, however, the exact timeline of the release is yet to be confirmed by Google.

Following Google’s track record, Pixel phones will be the first ones to get the stable build of Android P which will be released later this year. Later followed by smartphones from other brands.
